This poster was designed by the famous French artist Jean Cocteau. He was a multi-talented artist working in many different mediums: painting, illustration, writing, films, tapestry and jewellery.

This rare 1960 poster does not surface very often.

Le Testament d'Orphée is the final film in Cocteau's Orphic Trilogy, the first of which was released in 1930. The multi-talented Cocteau not only wrote the film, but also directed and starred in it, and to top it off, also designed this original French film poster. There are cameo appearances by Pablo Picasso and Yul Brynne in the film itself.
