This film had a limited run in art house cinemas, and no more than three hundred of these posters were printed.

This film was directed by the famous street artist Banksy. It tells the story of Thierry Guetta (Mr. Brainwash), a French born street artist living in Los Angeles. Over a number of years Guetta filmed a variety of street artists at work. The film footage was unused until Banksy incorporated it in this film, and included new footage of Guetta's rise to fame. In the film Banksy's face is obscured and his voice altered to protect his anonymity. The film premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, and it was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 83rd Academy Awards. Since this film's release there has been considerable debate as to whether it is a documentary or a mockumentary.
