Armbanduhr aus Gelbgold, Diamanten und mit Perlen besetzt, mit sichtbarer Hemmung, Schweiz, circa 1880

Princess Pauline Olga Helene Emma zu Wied, née Württemberg (1877-1965), daughter of King William II of Württemberg and Princess Marie of Waldeck and Pyrmont, and spouse of Prince William Frederick zu Wied; and thence by descent to Duchess Marie von Württemberg.

According to family tradition this watch indeed was worn by Princess Pauline (see above and image), who displayed rather ‘firm’ wrists as also indicated by the largesse of the watch’s bracelet.
