Pink Fluorite on Löllingite with Microcline

Two lovely pastel pink fluorite octahedrons rest atop a matrix of shiny, mirror-like crystalline löllingite. The aesthetic placement of these two translucent crystals upon lustrous löllingite — along with some nicely contrasting, creamy patches of microcline — is both elegant and dramatic. Pristine and undamaged, this combination of minerals is a fantastic example of a rare association from a famous locality in Inner Mongolia, China.
