Emerald

A strikingly rich, single emerald crystal with a color that can only be described as "emerald green." Emerging from a locality that has produced only a limited quantity of collector-quality crystals, this lustrous, hexagonal specimen with flat termination is translucent to transparent and represents some of the best material to come from the mines of the Oromia Region. Filaments of black schorl in the interior provide both intrigue and contrast to the saturated green of this emerald crystal.
