The artist.

LATASHÁ is the epitome of a polymath creatrix. A multi-hyphenated entrepreneurial artist, LATASHÁ is an NFT enthusiast and the Head of Community Programming at NFT protocol ZORA by day. By night, she is a singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, and performance artist. Her heart-work is in forging her theories and stories of Black femininity, self-empowerment, autonomy, love, and transcendence into all that she voices while using technology from NFT's to Midi controllers to bring her experiences to new dimensions. 

"START HERE." (the trailer) is a self-reflective audio-visual agglomeration through LATASHÁ’s mythology, taking her audience through her existential breakthrough and dreamscapes meeting reality. With use of electronic, hip hop, jazz, soul, poetic and world sound, LATASHÁ brings us on a sonic journey through her many-selves to find her oneness. A conversation in womanhood, Blackness, spirituality, creativity and evolution, "START HERE." (the trailer). is LATASHÁ's guide book into self exploration, love and trust.  

An immersive and introspective musical journey, crafted by LATASHÁ, an Afro-Caribbean Latina from Brooklyn, New York. Through her EP(s) and film, LATASHÁ invites listeners and viewers on a dream-like exploration of her inner thoughts and experiences, delving into the intricacies of existence, purpose, impact, ego and what it means to discover one's own greatness.

The project is a community-driven endeavor, currently in the works through LATASHÁ's residency program, "FOCAL POINT", in which she has brought together a diverse array of artists and creators from the web3 community and beyond to collaborate on the creation of this work.

This trailer serves as an introduction to the world that Latasha and her community are creating, and also comes with an added bonus: the collector of this piece will have the opportunity to select one song from LATASHÁ's EP(s) to be included in her upcoming album, releasing in 2024. And also the collector will have the chance of having a private performance by LATASHÁ.
