the rounded sides raised on three cabriole legs issuing from animal masks, flanked by a pair of horned-beast handles suspending loose rings, the exterior carved in low relief with a band of stylised taotie masks, the domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a lion standing foursquare, the glassy stone of an even white tone
