Éternel printemps, second état, 3ème réduction, dite aussi ‘no. 3’

inscribed Rodin and with the foundry mark F. Barbedienne, Fondeur

bronze

length: 49 cm. 19¼ in.

Conceived in plaster in 1884; this example executed in 1910 from an edition of between 80 and 83 by the Leblanc-Barbedienne Foundry.


This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'œuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by the Comité Rodin in collaboration with Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2011-3667B.
