Sapphire and diamond necklace, Marina B, circa 1989

The graduated line of oval sapphires framed by oval diamonds, the detachable pendant set with an oval sapphire weighing 14.48 carats, enhanced with a modified heart-shaped diamond, inner circumference approximately 330mm, signed Marina B, numbered, maker's marks for Marina B and Lully, numbered, French assay marks for platinum and gold. 

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 132946, stating that the tested sapphires weighing 14.48 and 7.08 carats are with no indications of heating, the sapphires weighing 9.21 and 5.43 carats are with indications of heating; together with Gübelin reports no. 23100108, no. 23100109 and no. 23100110, stating that the sapphires weighing 14.48, 9.20 and 5.43 carats are of Ceylon origin, with indications of heating; and Gübelin report no. 23100107, stating that the sapphire weighing 7.08 carats, is with no indications of heating; further accompanied by a copy of the original Marina B design.
