Three Seto vases

Edo period, 17^th - 18^th century

the first with everted body and tall rounded neck, four applied lug handles to the shoulder, decorated in brownish glazes falling towards the foot, the body slightly ribbed; the second a Takatori tokkuri [sake flask], oviform with tall neck and rounded rim, decorated with an all-over black and brown glaze dripped towards the foot; the third a small bowl with applied lug handles and irregularly shaped neck rim, decorated with ochre, black and brown glazes dripped towards the foot
