the first a Longton Hall octagonal cup and saucer, each decorated in iron red, blue, yellow and black enamels, with quail beneath plum blossom, England, circa 1755; the second a Chantilly Kakiemon style saucer and cup, of petal form, decorated in iron red, blue, green, yellow and black enamels, with cranes and quail among grasses and flowers, the cup similar decorated, chocolate rims, trumpet mark to base, France, circa 1735-40; the fourth a Saint Cloud rectangular dish with indented sides on high ring foot, decorated in typical Kakiemon palette with bamboo and plum blossom amidst banded hedges, brick-red line rim, France, circa 1740
