8vo, FIRST EDITION, SECOND IMPRESSION, PRESENTATION COPY inscribed by the author to Hope Mirrlees: "To Hope | Ah me! | To Hope . | From | Ian Fleming", original black cloth (Fabroleen), lettered in silver, "Dancing Lady" design to upper board, unclipped dust-jacket illustrated by Pat Marriott (priced at 13/6), clamshell box, ownership inscription to front free endpaper, dust-jacket very slightly browned at extremities and with a few very small chips and closed tears


With a suitably poetic inscription by Ian Fleming to Hope Mirrlees (1887-1978), British poet, fantasy novelist, translator, and aunt of Count Robin Mirrlees. 5,404 copies were printed.
