The reference 4332 is the first 36 mm Royal Oak produced after the launch of the famous 39 mm reference 5402 and the 35 mm reference 4100. This size was considered more suitable for the market as the original watch design from Gerald Genta was considered oversize at the time. It is only in 2005 with the reference 15300 that the 39 mm diameter came back.
The reference 4332 was produced in small numbers. Only 895 units were produced: 201 in steel, 374 in two-tone, 298 in yellow gold and 20 in white gold.
It is a rare occasion to acquire this important transition model that preceded the very coveted reference 14790. It comes with its Certificate of Origin and presentation case.
