In 1944, the British Army issued a rare military wristwatch known as 'The Mark X.' Made from 1939 to 1945, there were 6,000 of these watches produced. It features the 'Broad Arrow' symbol on both the dial and case back and has a serial number on the back for military issue. The back is also engraved with W.W.W., meaning Waterproof Wrist Watch.
