To commemorate 222 years of continuous watch production, Vacheron Constantin launched the Reference 222 'Jumbo' in 1977 with a limited production. Designed by Jörg Hysek, this watch features a classic yet bold 1970s sport design that has become increasingly popular among collectors who appreciate its Seventies sports watch aesthetic.
The reference 46003 is a mid-size version of the original 222 'Jumbo' model measuring 34mm, is believed to have only been produced in around 1,000 pieces. It boasts a slim profile with a monocoque case and a flat caseback, and the integrated bracelet was manufactured by the renowned Gay Frères. The watch is powered by the self-winding calibre 1124, which is based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 889.
