Moser has their very own approach towards the notion of a luxury sports watch. Unlike anything offered from the likes of the Royal Oak or the Nautilus, the Streamliner draws inspiration from the sleek designs of locomotives in the 1920s. Featuring a round cushion shape, the integrated bracelet is designed to wrap around the user's wrist with maximum comfort.
Known for its dial colours which elicits a sense of mysteriousness whenever looking into the dial, H. Moser & Cie never ceases to present a feast of visual sensation. The present lot kept in beautiful condition not only portraits Moser’s mastery in dial making but it is also one of the earliest examples of the Streamliner production with its black dial.
The watch features Moser’s first automatic chronograph with a central display to feature a flyback function for the minutes and seconds. What is even more fascinating is the rotor’s position in the movement - it is hidden on the dial side which gives an uncluttered view through the caseback of this intricate masterpiece.
Sleek yet complex, the Streamliner collection successfully won the GPHG 2020 chronograph prize for its amazing achievement. Focusing in soft and fluid proportions unlike luxury sports models from other brands, the appeal is soothing whilst the bracelet follows the curvature of the case, harmoniously creates a streamline start to finish. Combining brushed surfaces and polished bevels, the brilliant execution of the watch brings a unique personality on the wrist.
