This Daytona is a very rare variant of the automatic Daytona fitted with a Rolex calibre, reference 116520. Immediately one's eyes are drawn to this highly unusual citrus dial. A similar watch and like this early example, is prominently published in The Ultimate Daytona by Pucci Papaleo on page 71. As with the introduction of a new reference, Rolex sometimes did experiment with different coloured dials that were not chosen for standard production. This watch is fitted one of those dials that has not been offered on the market before. In addition to the highly unusual and pleasing colour of this dial, the watch is complete with accessories.
