Established in 2001, Richard Mille entered the world of horology with a very different philosophy than traditional companies. Taking inspiration from the world of F1 motor racing he created watches that were not only mechanically interesting but, most importantly, could be worn in a multitude of sports environments.

The RM11, designed in collaboration with his first sports-star ambassador, Brazilian Formula 1 driver Felippe Massa and worn by him while racing, has become the most iconic and popular model from the company due to its contemporary size and practical automatic annual calendar chronograph movement.
