The Chronomètre Royal reference 6694 was released in 1962 and equipped with Vacheron Constantin's first ever chronometer certified automatic movement. The movement was based on Jaeger-LeCoultre's calibre 493 and was finished and improved towards the standards of the Geneva Seal. Its case is very distinctive with its wing-shaped lugs, certainly a rare feature that will fascinate vintage watch collectors.
