FVF is based in Geneva and founded by the Spanish watchmaker Franc Vila to pursue his personal vision of emotional horology with an artisanal approach.
The present watch has a middle case and skeletonised baseplate made of grade 5 titanium, with sapphire crystal on both sides to protect the movement. The watch has a 42.5 mm diameter and a total thickness of 13.9 mm. The movement was designed with a rational approach in mind, with the goal of avoiding unnecessary complexity and achieving an ultralight, strong, and shock-resistant structure. The one-minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock is visually balanced by the heptagonal display showing the day of the week at 12 o'clock. A three-dimensional day and night indicator can be found just below it.
Everything is handcrafted, including the highly polished inward angles, wheels, and pinions. Its screws are also hand polished.
