The Atmos du Millénaire were produced in a number of editions, and each edition had distinctive marquetry decorations. The clocks were created in 1999 and distributed in honor of the millennium. In addition to its incredibly complex mechanism, the clock contains a clever 1000-year calendar that is prominently shown on the dial. The secret drawer at the bottom of the case also has space for 10 lacquered engraved gilded tubes, each holding a parchment.
