Since a child Vianney Halter developed a fascination for machinery and locomotives, thanks to his train captain father who often brought back home pieces of parts and engines. This passion eventually led to a path in pursuing watchmaking.
The watchmaker himself describes the present watch as a "wearable gold ingot“. Indeed, the present Trio Grande Date is a peculiar timepiece, with a thick rectangular case, "mystery rotor" and riveted portholes to display the time. It renders itself extremely distinctive on the wrist and is the best representation of Vianney Halter's steam-punk inspired designs.
