Gérald Genta's 1976 design gave birth to one of the most famous and acclaimed luxury sport watch line in the marker, the Nautilus family. Given its success, Patek Philippe has kept revisiting the iconic design and developing different variations but always including its signature rounded octagonal bezel resembling a porthole construction and in most cases fitted with an elegant rounded bracelet. In 2006, reference 5980 was introduced and quickly admired for the addition of a chronograph and date functions. The present watch is kept in beautiful condition and thanks to its charming pink gold case and bracelet will be much enjoyed by its new owner.
