MAD 1 was a watch designed and created by the founder of MB&F, Max Büssuer, to pay homage to his close friend and collectors that are members of “The Tributes” group. These individuals have been loyal followers and supporters of the brand since its inception.
This watch was one of the most affordable pieces ever created by Büssuer, with a humble price tag of 1,900 CHF at the time. The substantial 42mm case is adorned with a domed sapphire crystal to feature the spinning triple blade rotor featuring Super LumiNova on top of each blade to be seen in the dark.
The present example is accompanied by its M.A.D. Editions presentation box with outer packaging, UV light and pouch. This offering is an opportunity for avid collectors of MB&F timepieces and enthusiasts of independent watchmakers.
