Compare a similar figure of a hare, similarly detailed with brown pigment, in the Percival David Foundation, now in the British Museum, London, published in the Margaret Medley, Illustrated Catalogue of Ting and Allied Wares, London, 1980, p. 9, no. 2. Another from the Eumorfopoulos Collection, illustrated in the International Exhibition of Chinese Art, Royal Academy, London, 1935, cat. no. 989. A third example, in the Meiyintang Collection, is illustrated in Regina Krahl, Chinese Ceramics from the Meiyintang Collection, vol. 3 (II), London, 2006, pl.1396.
