This elegant pair of cups is notable for the finely painted landscape on the exterior. Yongzheng blue-and-white cups decorated with a landscape scene are very rare; compare a closely related pair, sold in our London rooms, 7th April 1981, lot 281; and a related cup painted with a figural and landscape scene, but in grisaille, sold in these rooms, 8th April 2023, lot 3724.

盃外壁繪山水獨釣圖，筆觸精細，雅緻十足。雍正朝間，青花山水圖盃甚為稀少，珍罕程度不言而喻。對比一例，售於倫敦蘇富比，1981年4月7日，編號281；另見一墨彩山水人物圖盃，售於香港蘇富比，2023年4月8日，編號3724。
