This vase is extremely rare for its elegant hexagonal form, and no other related example appears to have been published. Compare a vase of similar form, but with tubular handles and decorated in enamels with rocks and bamboo in the style of an ink painting, with a Qianlong reign mark and of the period, from the Sir Percival David Collection in the British Museum, London, included in the travelling exhibition For the Imperial Court. Qing Porcelain from the Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art, Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth, 1997, cat. no. 18.

此瓶之六方形制典雅得體，尤為珍罕，現時記載中未見相似類例。對比倫敦大英博物館大維德爵士收藏一例與本品器型相類之乾隆時期六方瓶，兩側有貫耳，瓶身以水墨風格繪製竹石紋，曾巡展於《For the Imperial Court. Qing Porcelain from the Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art》，金貝爾藝術博物館，沃思堡，1997年，編號18。
