A Chamberlain Worcester Pale Blue-Ground Inkstand, Circa 1815


of trefoil form fixed with three quill rests, fitted with two loose inkwells and covers and a pounce pot, the handle formed of three gilt dolphins, finely painted with a panel of six various feathers, reserved against a pale blue-ground, the corners modelled with columns supporting gilt satyr masks, on three bun feet, script mark referring to Patronage of the Prince Regent and the Duke of Cumberland. 6 pieces
