Micah Alhadeff

“Splinters” is an interactive 3D piece using glitch—both the technique and its aesthetic—to explore the limits of the human form. I use glitch processing to fragment, transform and reassemble the body to evoke a range of emotions, including feelings of rapture. The glitch process renders the body erratic, unfamiliar and open for rediscovery.

Micah Alhadeff is a digital artist whose work uses 3D programming and glitch processing techniques to explore the digital body, ideas of queerness, and the limits of fantasy. He is an MFA candidate in Electronic Integrated Arts at Alfred University in New York. He holds a BA in Art History and a BFA in Graphic Design from Colorado State

University.
