Matt Szczur describes the piece: "I wanted to explore the concept of self/style by featuring two faces merging together in a single portrait. Two styles that I have used for years and love. Through this artwork, I aim to convey that we are not just one fixed entity, but a fluid blend of various aspects of ourselves. This piece is deeply personal and introspective, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own identity and the different elements that contribute to shaping who they truly are."

Matt Szczur is a former professional baseball player and artist from New Jersey. He attended Villanova University, where he played college baseball and football and graduated with a degree in liberal arts. Szczur began pursuing his passion for art during his baseball career, creating pieces that reflect his personal experiences and emotions. His artwork features a range of mediums, paint, and mixed media, stencils and glitch art.

In 2016, after Szczur won World Series with the Chicago Cubs, he auctioned off a piece of stencil art at the Cubs Charity that raised 35,000 dollars. This was the point Szczur knew he had to continue with his passion for art. Szczur's art career has continued to grow and evolve alongside his baseball career, and he remains dedicated to using his platform to make a positive impact in his community through his artistic expression.

In 2020 Szczur entered the world in crypto and digital art and began painting to raise awareness and save lives through art. Szczur paints a skeleton he calls “Bxnes” to raise awareness for bone marrow disease in which Szczur donated his to a little girl from the Ukraine and saved her life. Szczur’s mission is to save a life through art.
