A French gilt-bronze mounted kingwood bookcase by Maison Krieger, Paris, circa 1900


in Louis XV style, of breakfront form, the shaped pediment surmounted with a female mask above three brass grille doors opening to reveal an arrangement of adjustable shelves, on cabriole legs terminating in paw feet, the locks stamped MON KRIEGER / AMEUBLEMENT / PARIS, at least on mount stamped HD, one door with J. B. Tollemans brass trade label
