'Love of my Life' was written by Freddie Mercury during the band's intensive summer in Surrey and Herefordshire in 1975. It was included on A Night at the Opera and soon became a live favourite. This single is an acoustic version of the song recorded live at Frankfurt on 2 February 1979 and released on 29 June 1979 as the single release for the album Live Killers.
