Freddie Mercury’s leisure wear including the trousers worn in ‘These Are The Days Of Our Lives’

Three tops and three pairs of trousers comprising: a plain mustard yellow sweatshirt with green neck, unlabelled; a black sweatshirt with black perforated leather trim and black stud decoration to shoulders and sleeves, with black leather number ‘3’ patch to front, labelled ‘Nolder Men’; a fleece jacket in shades of purple with green inserts, zip front, labelled ‘Nevica’; a pair of plain purple tracksuit bottoms with zip pockets, labelled ‘Odlo’; a pair of khaki loose-fitting trousers with patterned strip to side of right leg, similarly patterned patch pocket to left leg, with manufacturer’s patch to back ‘Eider’; and a pair of black loose-fitting trousers printed with a design of white arrows, crosses and stars, labelled ‘Champ’ – worn, but not seen, in Freddie’s last video ‘These Are The Days Of Our Lives’, 1991 – see lot 281 for the hand-painted silk ‘cat’ waistcoat worn with these trousers in the video and lot 2303 for the matching top to these trousers which Freddie wore for Roger Taylor’s 40^th birthday party in Godalming, Surrey, 1989.
