Freddie Mercury’s leisure wear including the trousers worn in ‘These Are The Days Of Our Lives’


Three tops and three pairs of trousers comprising: a plain mustard yellow sweatshirt with green neck, unlabelled; a black sweatshirt with black perforated leather trim and black stud decoration to shoulders and sleeves, with black leather number ‘3’ patch to front, labelled ‘Nolder Men’; a fleece jacket in shades of purple with green inserts, zip front, labelled ‘Nevica’; a pair of plain purple tracksuit bottoms with zip pockets, labelled ‘Odlo’; a pair of khaki loose-fitting trousers with patterned strip to side of right leg, similarly patterned patch pocket to left leg, with manufacturer’s patch to back ‘Eider’; and a pair of black loose-fitting trousers printed with a design of white arrows, crosses and stars, labelled ‘Champ’ – worn, but not seen, in Freddie’s last video ‘These Are The Days Of Our Lives’, 1991 – see lot 281 for the hand-painted silk ‘cat’ waistcoat worn with these trousers in the video and lot 2303 for the matching top to these trousers which Freddie wore for Roger Taylor’s 40th birthday party in Godalming, Surrey, 1989.
