75% of the vineyard is constituted from grafts of the Romanée-Conti vineyard.The vineyard is a monopole, the Domaine acquiring what is, today, the La Tâche vineyard in 1933 and henceforth recognized as AC La Tâche in 1936. Why do I love La Tâche? Well, plums and roses and deep, plush velvet fruit is the reason. The texture is always thicker than Romanée-Conti. Serena Sutcliffe.
