55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33.7% Merlot, 11.3% Cabernet Franc. In 2022, an exceptional, vivid, brambles and redcurrants nose, so healthy, so up front and so 'sweet'. And all the breed of a very top cru, such is La Mission in any vintage. On the palate, such glorious silky fruit, really lip-licking. There is no Bordeaux 2011, in my view, that approaches this for sheer, appetising enjoyment. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
