St. Estèphe, 3ème Cru Classé 

78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. Lovely, luscious black grapes on the nose. It looks as if it is between 2010 and 2011 here in character. Glorious berry taste with nothing exaggerated and superb opulence and classicism. Lots of depth plus the real taste of Calon and a touch of coffee. In 2016, a lovely nose of place, with lots of black fruit and 'saltiness' on the palate. Very good indeed. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Part of the collection were purchased on release, and the rest with Sotheby's. Part of a much larger collection.
