Description

Château Haut Batailley 2015

Pauillac, 5ème Cru Classé

Cabernet Sauvignon 72%, Merlot 28%. 60% new barrels. Perfumed, fresh nose, with that 'lightness of being' that is Haut Batailley. A terrific chocolate taste - very satisfying. Very juicy and full of berries and succulence. Highly successful, yet again. In 2017, a really distinguished nose and, on the palate, a lovely texture, with flavours of blackberries and a touch of peat. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
