The Gondolo Serata was introduced in the early 2000’s to celebrate the voluptuous aesthetic of the Patek Philippe creations made in the 1940’s, such as the Reference 2442, nicknamed “Marylin Monroe” by collectors.
The Reference 4973 was the most luxurious version has it was fitted with more diamonds than the 4972. It features an attractive and feminine mother-of-pearl guilloche dial with stylized Arabic numerals.
