The present watch is reference 116509 which houses the calibre 4130. This caliber is a very important movement for Rolex as it is the brand's first in-house chronograph movement. While it could look like the stainless-steel version from distance, the connoisseur will immediately identify it as white gold thanks to its different bezel and the dial with diamond-set indexes that was only available on Daytona crafted in precious metal. It further has the non luminescent hands, which are correct for this dial.
