Rolex introduced the References 116333 and 116334 in 2009. The Datejust II was born. It was a true revolution for the classic line and the first time a non professional Rolex watch would have such a large diameter case, 41mm.

This oversized piece paved the way to a new era for Rolex. While the 116333 was discontinued in 2016, it was that reference that put the Datejust as well as the non professional models of Rolex in the 21st century.
