Following decades of legendary success with the Nautilus collection, Patek Philippe launched its modern flagship ladies' model in 2015. The reference 7118 is available in rose gold and stainless steel, both with or without diamond-setting.
The larger-sized case of 35.2mm in diameter allows for the watch to accomodate the acclaimed automatic caliber 324SC, which can also be found in the Nautilus reference 5711 among many other Patek Philippe timepieces.
The present stainless steel example, offered on behalf of its first owner, bears the reference 7118/1200A-010. This diamond-set version displays a mesmerizing light gray opaline dial, with a modern wavy twist to the traditional ribbing motif, using textures and depth to brilliantly reflect light. In order to boast high contrast legibility, the dial is fitted with blackened gold markers luminesent baton indexes and matching hands. The date aperture is located at 6 o'clock for a perfecly symmetrical layout, as opposed to the standard 3 o'clock date position observed with the caliber 324.
The bezel is elegantly set with 56 diamonds for a total weight of 0.707 cts, making this impressive reference a highly popular Nautilus model in today's market. Equally at home in casual or dressy settings, this rare timepiece is offered in superb condition with its original suite of fabulously preserved accessories and documentation.
