The Reference 5712 Nautilus was introduced in 2006 in commemoration of the sport watch's 30th anniversary. The classic sport design was updated with an attractive asymmetrical dial detailing a fan-shaped power reserve indication, the superb moon phases, and the off-center subsidiary seconds, which all contribute towards the unprecedented geometry of the dial design. The model stood as the most complicated Nautilus wristwatch until the 2018 launch of the Reference 5740, a perpetual calendar wristwatch with moon phases.
Housed in a 40 mm case, the Reference 5712/1A-001 in stainless steel is fitted with a gorgeous blue-black dial that displays a power reserve indicator at 10 o'clock, a snailed date indicator with moon phases between 6 and 9 o'clock and a running seconds subdial at 4 o'clock.
