The reference 16710 was manufactured between 1989 and 2007, replacing the outgoing reference 16760 and boasting a slimmer case design. Over the course of its relatively long production, the model underwent several progressive improvements and it was available with bezels in plain black, red and black ('Coke') and red and blue ('Pepsi'). This watch retains its caseback factory sticker.
