De forme géométrique, ornée d'une perle fine de forme poire légèrement baroque et sertie de diamants tailles ancienne et baguette, dimensions 55 x 22 mm environ, poinçon français d'import pour le platine (850°/00), poids brut 22.22 g, vers 1930.


Accompagnée d'un certificat SSEF no. 106057 en date du 1 avril 2019, indiquant la qualité de perle de fine d'eau de mer pour cette perle.


Of geometrical design, ornated with a slightly baroque drop-shaped natural pearl and set with circular-cut and baguette diamonds, measuring approximately 55 x 22mm, French import assay mark for platinum, gross weight 22.22 grams; 1930s.


Accompanied by SSEF report no. 106057 dated 1 April 2019 stating that the pearl was found to be natural, saltwater.

Charles Brooking Compton, né en 1876, est originaire de Londres. Il commence à travailler en 1898 pour Mappin & Webb avant d'être nommé directeur des succursales françaises de la société dans le sud du pays. À Paris, il rencontre le joaillier français Raphael Marzo et accepte de diriger la succursale madrilène de Marzo en 1916. Charles Brooking a créé sa propre entreprise en 1926 et est devenu fournisseur de la famille royale d'Espagne.


Charles Brooking Compton born in 1876 is originated from London. He began working 1898, he began working for Mappin & Webb before being appointed as manager of the firm's French branches in the South. Whilst in Paris he met the French jeweller, Raphael Marzo and accepted an offer to manage Marzo's Madrid branch in 1916. Charles Brooking started his own company in 1926 and became a supplier to the Royal Family of Spain.
