The Piaget Polo was created in 1979. From its beginning the watch was the expression of ultimate sophisticated luxury. It was purposely designed for a certain elite, as its name indicated. The watch had a great impact and marked a whole generation. The original Polo production was available in two main formats: the rounded and the square case. In both cases, the bracelet is beautifully integrated, made in matching material and with a design echoing the ribbed dial. The present lot is a reference 8131, which is the jumbo size of the square case. It comes in the most luxurious version offered, diamond/set on case and bracelet.
