Diamond pendant, Hemmerle, circa 1982
Representing a scarab, brilliant-cut diamonds, on a chain, length approximately 520mm, signed Hemmerle, case stamped Hemmerle.
This lot was purchased by the owner’s husband, after she saw a print advertise in German Vogue in October 1982. She cut out the print advertise and kept it until today.
In 1984 the chain was revamped by Hemmerle. Sotheby's is honored to offer the jewel together with the print advertise the invoice and the original box besides a letter and an expertise by Hemmerle dated November 1984 when the chain was revamped.
