The Laurent Ferrier Galet Annual Calendar School Piece is a testament to the brand's commitment to functionality, readability, and aesthetics. Entirely designed in-house and embodies all the values that Laurent Ferrier instills in his creations, the case is reminiscent of pocket watches with a round and balanced 40 mm diameter. The dial is in slate-grey and features vintage-inspired blue numerals with two tones of satin finishes on the center and on the outer circle.
The watch's annual calendar complication features a quick set button for the days of the week, and the date and month can be made by pulling and turning the crown forward or backward without the need of any tools.
A tribute to the brand's first manual winding movement, the tourbillon double hairspring and long "blade" type click ratchet are revealed via the sapphire crystal case back, both distinctive features of Laurent Ferrier timepieces. To further establish its success in the watch world, it was the winner of the GPHG Men's Complication Watch Prize in 2018, which will remain as a classic piece amongst Larent Ferrier’s watches.
