In 2023 and from magnum, a highly projected, and glorious, bouquet of cigars (the finest....) and black liquorice, with a dash of leather. I do love 'character'! Rich, all-enveloping, velvety and fleshy. What bliss - and it has that perfect balance between fruit, tannin and acidity. A beautiful expression both of Haut Bailly and the great 2000 vintage. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
