Offered in this lot is a rare Made in the USA EKIN varsity jacket from Nike. The moniker ‘EKIN’ (Nike spelled backward) was developed in the 1980s, symbolic of the ‘backward and forward’ product knowledge of these Nike employees. A subset of Nike workers, EKINs are the brand's trusted voice. Working closely with the product and their relevant communities, the EKIN mission is to move athletes through impassioned storytelling, while keeping the brand’s vision purposeful and authentic.
Given exclusively to esteemed Nike employees, the jacket features a black wool body and black leather sleeves. “EKIN” embroidery is featured on the back atop a globe illustration. The Nike tagline, "There Is No Finish Line. ," is repeated around the logo.
