Each numbered, signed and dated 8/8 Ettore Sottsass 2002 with contemporary Italian hallmarks for Vincenza on the cone silver bottom of the Syrus vase and on the lowest silver circle of the Sennacherib vase

These vases are part of the 20 Argenti Grandi series, a collection of twenty silver vases each produced in an edition of eight pieces and one artist proof, designed at the end of the 1990s and named after ancient kings of the Mesopotamia region. All the internal glasses were manufactured by the Cenedese furnace in Murano, Venice. Special commission for the Paolo Curti and Annamaria Gambuzzi & Co. gallery in Milan.
